Ocean Institute offers educational field trips Monday through Friday during the school year, designed to inspire and engage students of all ages.
The Institute features state-of-the-art teaching labs, the spectacular Maddie James Seaside Learning Center, a historic tall ship, and an oceanographic research vessel. Immersion-based field trips range from one-hour science labs to overnight programs. All programs are designed to maximize immersion, spark curiosity, and inspire a deep commitment to learning.

Our field trips are designed for students in grades K-12, with activities tailored to each age group.

What should students bring on the trip?
