Our Advanced Living Systems Lab program is an advanced version of our popular Living Systems Lab. During this 2-hour lab, students will investigate relationship between biotic and abiotic components of the marine ecosystem. Students will test water quality from our aquarium and regular salt water to see which I better suited for fish to live in. They will also learn animals classifications in our tank farm and compare and contrast traits of closely related animals. Students will dissect a fish and explore their external anatomy before exploring internally and looking at the different systems. Lastly students will investigate moon jelly life cycle and their importance in the ocean.
